The Wharie Experience

The Wharie Experience is a small, mixed winery, cidery and brewery project based in the New Forest, rooted in hands-on production and a low-intervention mindset. Working from a young vineyard and orchard, the focus is on minimal inputs in both field and cellar, allowing each cuvée to evolve freely and reflect place, season and experimentation. Alongside the bottles, the project leans heavily into experience—intimate, educational tastings and vineyard tours that connect drinkers directly to the land and process. The Wharie Experience is led by Swiss oenologist Guillaume Lagger, whose work blends traditional knowledge with a flexible, exploratory approach to English wine and cider.
