Megan Willoughby

Megan Willoughby is a multifaceted artist, creating what she likes to think of as ‘recipes’ from reflections and materials drawn from her life in South Somerset. Here she lives on and works the land without the use of fossil fuels at off-grid woodland community, Tinkers Bubble. Through her work Megan explores trust in one’s hands as instruments of understanding, acknowledging materials, images and words as tools of resilience and connection. Her ‘makings’ are therefore more so ‘findings’ that attempt to see the unseen through the creative reasoning of material fictions; Creating shrines of communication to the cycles of life.
